After looking through this thread and online threads, seems like Android OS on w80c has quite an amount of issues. (i.e. OS instability, lag, bootloop). Although reviews for the panel looks quite good, I wonder if the Android OS will still be supported while new TV releases are coming in.

Android instability is the downside of sony tv. You only pray for an upgrade. If it concerns u, get a separate box.

I'm more concerned towards tv's operation (i.e. FTA TV, HDMI, etc.).

Hi, I'm looking at the 65" X series, and would like to confirm that the power cord is non-detachable?

Cos I ask the shop, and they say no. But I also saw that there's a screw on panel at the cord location. Thanks!

Just hoot X8000C 55" from Courts PC fair @ $1899. Free wireless keyboard.

Hi, I ordered the X8000C at the recent PC show. TV was delivered 2 weeks ago and just received the bracket today? Realized that the bracket is not original Sony and the specs stated that for upto 50" although my TV is 55". Is yours original Sony and specs for 55"

Thanks for sharing in advance.

I received the TV, a wall mount bracket and a stand 2 weeks ago.

The wall mount installation was done within the same day of delivery.

The wall mount bracket was not the original Sony bracket. The stand I am not sure, threw to the store room.

So far so good and happy with it.

For me, maybe the set is still new, so far do not observe the wifi connectivity, IR remote and turning off problem.

I put the router beside the tv, not too sure if this help in connectivity.

So far so good. Tested 4K video with X80C, the image is exactly the same in the showroom.

Android platform is an added advantage. spoilt for choice.

I am happy with the 65X8500D that I recently purchased.

No problems with the TV in terms of IR remote, on/off or wifi. My router is placed in another floor.

I like the new OS ..... the voice search function on the remote is OK. It can recognise what I say and is therefore use-able.

S85C no issue found for Wifi

Video streaming via Netflix 4K is good so far via Wifi.

In term of PQ, it suit me most.
