Screen saver as in full screen? Or just some overlay? Have you tried rebooting your Android OS?
Yup, the backdrop screen saver is in full screen mode, not overlay. Does your rebooting Android OS mean by switch off TV and wall power point, then turn both back on again? Sorry i am a bit noob in messing around with Android TV... :o

Yup, previous version, need to do that. New Android 9 just press and hold power button on remote control to reboot OS. i assume you have done that and it is still the same? And just to check that you are not on demo mode? But demo mode is not full screen. Looks like you need to get Sony support service.

Just went to BD and need some advice here.

According to the sales rep, Samsung mini led qled is better than Sony/LG oled. Is it true?

Sony and LG warranty is not cover for burn in. Is it true?

Thanks for your advice.

Most of those salesmen are just out to make a sale. They have no real interest in TVs. Just say thank you very much and make your own observations. Usually I just check the viewing angles and DSE. Hard to check other things.

While I may prefer VA panels due to the contrast, which TV is a better depends on a number of factors and is also a fairly subjective assessment. It's not as simple as VA>IPS.
