Congrats! Amazing display for user's home viewing pleasure. You know those TV's in major retail store are not set for home viewing. Eyes very uncomfortable if you look at that kind of tv settings. In a darken atmosphere (night) you will see a huge difference between OLED and LEDs. Enjoy.Got my first Oled in the end. Hope can last me for a good 7-8 years.
Congrats for the A80J. I also will get A80J.Got my first Oled in the end. Hope can last me for a good 7-8 years.
Go big or go home....Thanks guys!
The picture and front facing speakers quality just wow me over.
Heard that the 55" stocks are running low tho.

Having a tough decision to decide with A80J or X90J
Know they are different panels but good reviews about both.
Whats the cost n what is included?
What's the best price for A80J now?
Hahaha....Thanks. Actually i am only looking at 55" size.I got it at around 4.2K for the 65" including swivel bracket and airmouse.
There are some electronic stores that have display units going at below 4K for 65"
OLED better dont get display set.I got it at around 4.2K for the 65" including swivel bracket and airmouse.

Gamer: C1 (support VRR/ALLM for PC/Xbox)the 77" is glossy instead of semi glossy? are burn ins on oled still a general concern?
whats the incentive in getting a80j over lg c1?
A80J/A90J no good for 4k content?Gamer: C1 (support VRR/ALLM for PC/Xbox)
Movie: A80J/A90J (If you watch a lot non 4K content/Play Game like Switch)
77" Is glossy.
Concern of burn in, don't get OLED.
If 4k content both C1 and A80J will be more or less same PQ.A80J/A90J no good for 4k content?
IMO, there will be differences in color, contrast and brightness out of the box... and not everyone is going to pay for calibration.. some won't even any tweaking...If 4k content both C1 and A80J will be more or less same PQ.
Yes, Sony more color accurate and how many people know about it. If they don't see the problem itself, don't need to go our route for nit picking.IMO, there will be differences in color, contrast and brightness out of the box... and not everyone is going to pay for calibration.. some won't even any tweaking...
Where can you get this? That's a USA site.I wonder what are the rates for TV Calibration service and whether it would be cheaper than purchasing a colorimeter and calibrating the display ourselves.
A decent colorimeter can cost around $200-$400, the great thing about purchasing our own colorimeter is that we can mass calibrate all our displays, which includes TVs and PC Monitors.
