anybody still using this phone :o not sure how to get fast charging working properly on mine, with a ugreen nexode 100w and baseus 100w cable, can hit ~25w for only 10s before it throttles to 10w or even less. starting battery less than 50%.

Got try different cable or charger? Might be charger or cable semi defective.

Or,

IF your charger have 30w usb socket try plug into it instead of using 60W usb socket on your charger and see how?

Also disable stamina mode.

Update all your phone software and applications, clear all background applications and restart and see again?

yes have, 2 different cables and bricks, all combos can charge my laptop at 65w or my old lightsabered :o 5 ii at 15w.

tried on both bricks, still no improvement.
Also disable stamina mode.
never enabled, and disabled battery care also.

already on latest update, restarted yesterday, today tried but also quickly drop to 10w. to be fair, it had a starting charge of 60+%. did come across someone having a similar issue on xda, but he said it resolved itself after a few days. hoping the same would happen here. i just find it strange that it would throttle so aggressively, the fact that it can pull 25w means the hardware is capable of it, is just i dunno how to keep it sustained.

With regards to above, keeping it on HK firmware, cause tested using CMLink HK it works with volte and so forth. Until there is a global firmware or a method to add Singapore/Malaysia/ASEAN volte setting without changing anything. Keep it as a travel phone and home media phone. Hope this help for everyone with a sony phone that cant use any of the mvno in SG.

There are spare parts that we can use with Xperia 1 III

Since they are not subject to software update, you can do screenshot in 4k resolution, newer nodels downgrade the screenshot resolution

Next if you can find, can try Xperia view if managed to find one

I sometimes will use my mark III for the camera and video shoot drive too
