I did not expect this, i actually applied my warranty date on the day i receive my phone. So does this mean my freebie is voided?

This may have problem but you should be able to sort it out with Sony.

By right warranty is supposed to start on the date u receive... not order..

I did a reset APN it works for my phone. Now it has 5G.

Read your post. Reset the APN and restart my 1 V. Now my new 5G SIM works at 5G.

Got my collection email 9:30 this morning. Thinking of going down directly after work to collect. Problem is I didn't digitise the paper invoice when receive the phone. Think they can accept the digital invoice printscreen from official store?

Depends on how you look at it loh. If the 3 months warranty is supposed to be entitlement, or is supposed to cover your pre-order period.

Regardless, seems like those who put in the delivery date got covered for the full 15months.

I got back a different answer from their CS. I called them and they told me I will not be allowed to redeem it. However they can help us to modify our purchase date through their system but have to send them a copy of our purchase invoice. Also because of this modification, I have to wait for another email for the rdemeptopn. Meaning I have to wait again...

I think inside Sony got two different managers who came to completely different conclusions on the date of purchase vs date of delivery for warranty registration

Yep! Went down to collect earlier. The guy used that printout as documentation with stamp, your signature and last 4 digit of your NRIC. Also, your IC for verification XD
