I think the audacity to price this minimal upgrade at almost $2K is going to turn away a lot of customers willing to give them another chance.

After the crappy and possible lemon 1iv that I bought on pre-order at launch, this time round I will wait for the new Pixel Pro to be announced first before I make my decision. I suspect the AI is causing some battery drain in there, when the newer chip is supposed to be more efficient.

I am not overly concerned about the camera, seeing most smartphones are having generally good performance in photography. But for the price of almost 2k, the internal storage is quite depressing.

The videos that he captured for demonstration are really not sharp gosh.

And the bokeh mode is embarrassing. You can see the messy artefacts around his arms area.

That is probably still the best in market.

Bought one some yrs back just for the DAC. Ess Sabre quad dac tuned by Meridian. Powerful enough to even nudge my HD800s. But unfortunately because of android os restrictions need to get a special audio app to bypass and access higher fidelity audio.
