Most interesting will be the battery. I had the pleasure to use a phone with dimensity 1200 chip and it is quite battery efficient without heating issues. Dimensity 9000 should be a good alternative to SD 8 Gen 1, with expected less heating and more battery efficient.

The prototype phone is without any additional thermal cooling done on the phone and perform less power and stays cooler! Love it!

I can grow to like this guy. Simple and informative video without any bias, preference or sponsorship talk.

Not for this core. This core is manufactured by TSMC and beats the snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip ~

No, really. Take a good look at their newest flagship chip.
They are no longer just making the low and mid-tier chips, now they are taking on the flagship tier with some decent efforts.

Long time didn't read Chinese liao. From my understanding. It mentioned

Not recommend to charge overnight

Always charge and Keeping it 100% will degrade the battery even faster

To prolong battery life. Use till 30% to 50% regularly.

Correct me if I wrong

Which is why my Xperia 1 III is permanently set to charge until 90% max only. Worth the little sacrifice for a better battery lifespan long term.

8 Gen 1 plus with TSMC fabrication please ~

Isit me or isit the site has problem because I am unable to paste link.

Qualcomm's latest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, will be installed in most flagship models that will be rolled out domestically in 2022, such as the Galaxy S22 series announced yesterday and the new Xperia.

The chip is known to be manufactured on Samsung's 4nm process, but there are rumors about manufacturing issues such as lower yields than before.

And this time, we have some very interesting information related to this.

Qualcomm wants TSMC to ship the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus as soon as possible to replace the current Snapdragon 8 Gen1
There have been many rumors that TSMC will be responsible for manufacturing the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 or its upgrade chips and next-generation chips.

The source this time is a user who is not very familiar, but since it is a user who has about 370,000 followers on Weibo, I do not think that he is a person who leaks such sloppy information.

Also, I'm very worried about the fact that Snapdragon 8 Gen1 + is a chip that "replaces" Snapdragon 8 Gen1 .

That's because Qualcomm apparently replaces the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 + with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 completely,
rather than as a regular chipset upgrade chip like the traditional Snapdragon 800 series "+". You can read the intention to expand as .

In that case, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 may be "discontinued" early, and if that happens, users who purchased a model equipped with the unbranded Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will be considerably dissatisfied.

Then , even with the latest chip-equipped models such as Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 5 IV , it seems that there is a possibility that this Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will be installed instead of unmarked for models with relatively late release .

Well, no matter which model you buy in 2022, those who are considering purchasing a model equipped with SD8 Gen1 should wait until summer to autumn when the relationship between this unmarked and + will become clear. maybe.

I think SD 888 had already shown that TSMC is the better manufacturer, so it is less of a rumour but more affirmation.
