Come join the dark side ~Was actually set on getting the S22 Ultra before I saw the news today. Now I am torn. Any advice to help me make a decision? Currently using a S9+ and definitely changing my phone before going on holiday in June. So assuming the 1iv is released early-mid June, I have a tough decision to make.

Yes I'm glad too.I'm just happy that they continued with the same naming convention i.e. Xperia 1M IV, else it makes them look lost each time they rebrand the flagship.
Sent from Sony Xperia 1iii!

Ask yourself if microsd and headphone jack is important to you. Or does the s pen speak to you more?
In any case the s9 can hold on for vacation shots.
You can consider replacing the battery at a repair shop. But the S9 battery life cannot hold up for more than six hours tops, especially if I'm using the camera and Google Maps a lot![]()
Look at gsmarena review. Go to photo comparison tool. The quality is better than Xperia 1III and Samsung.idk why but the youtube reviews of the cameras made them look so bad![]()
coz they dont know how to appreciate/use the camera as it was designed to be..idk why but the youtube reviews of the cameras made them look so bad![]()

I've used literepair several times for this purpose, their main branch at 176 does a decent job within a few hours. Around 50$
