thin bezel has its problem...i jump from note 8. i am happy with my XZ2 for the past few weeks...
now i am getting used to the position of the fingerprint sensor, no problem. phone is not hot when charging and never get as hot as i previous phone....:)
everything is good so far!

For those using Sammy than jump to Sony will never understand the Sony design. :s13:
I got no complains with thick bezel since I am a clumsy user
as well as outdoor user.

You guys should see how bang up my Z2 is than you know how a phone managed to survive in my hands.
That one is by far the most robust but the frame is bend in already. :(
If Sammy more or less, don't know how many screen need to change.:s13:

XZ2 and XZ2c reportedly having sensitivity/precision issues with the touchscreen. Hopefully can be fixed through setting or software.

I tried two models, normal XZ2 and XZ2 Compact, with identical results. Tried while charging and without the charging cable as well.

It's not an obvious issue or easy to perceive, until you are trying to shoot at somebody in the head with a sniper rifle inside a game. It lacks precision. I'm not even sure if this is a deal breaker because probably I won't notice in daily usage, but I play games from time to time...

If you have the device, try it your self, try to draw tiny circles and compare with another device.

yes i have noticed the same problem. a small glide or flick to scroll requires a little more effort than my Sammy s9 plus.

Since Iphone now works in japan suica
Does xz2 Supprt suica in japan since sony is from japan or we need a japan region editon Sony phone

I believe you will need a Japanese smart phone from Japan (Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Fujitsu, NEC..etc). Since you need the Felica chip in it and osaifu-wallet app. It has been available since 2004 according to wikipedia...

Sadly no Google Pay support yet...

pardon me, i havent been following this thread for some time.

if im not wrong, RRP of XZ1 was $898, while XZ2's RRP is $998?

is it worth that increase in $100?

I was very surprised at XZ1's price cos I thought it'll be higher.

$818 is Sony promo that I recently buy.

Price is one thing but like I share in another thread.
Whether the feel, design and etc. suits you or not.
As not many like myself like XZ2 design so end up with XZ1.

XZ1 so far quite good, lasting battery, premium design and etc.
But not for people who dislike thick bezels.

The usual pricing for the regular flagship of Xperia is always $998, only exception is the XZ1 which is priced lower by $100 at $898.

This could also mean the premium flagship of Xperia this year could be around $1198, or even higher.
