SOS new camera

Just bought a new camera and decided to try out. Olympus pl7. However, when i install the lens, my screen went black. Like the view blocked but the camera itself working fine, can go menu all that. When i take out the lens, the screen still can see blurry. Any idea why? I removed all the covers already.

You mean... you did not test fire some shots at the shop when you purchase it?

When you mount the lens, did you hear a 'click' sound?

- Did you secure attach the lens until u hear the click sound?
- Can the camera detect the lens?

You can check this my Getting if the camera can detect the lens firmware version.

Checking firmware version on Olympus camera
Press the MENU button.
Find “Firmware” under the “wrench” icon.
The adapter firmware version is displayed under “Lens”

lastly did u remove the lens cap (i know this question sound....... i have female friend who kpkb say cannot take picture when they forget remove the lens cap)

LOL thanks guys i actually did take out the caps but didnt tighten it until hearing the click sound. I didnt dare to tighten it at first. Thank god for the times i tried, the lens didnt fall off xD
