if i want to buy sound card. is it true i need buy about $200 and above to be worth it. heard onboard sound is quite good.
will there be space to slot in sound card for my asus h77-m?
my 7850 already take up 2 space i guess. left 16X1 below.

asus xonar dx will suffice. those cheapo ones are those not worth it to get. anyth above 100 is better then onboard. and yea u are left with the last slot to put e sound card

mostly music some gaming like counter strike global offensive. my speakers is harman kardon sound sticks 3. the only worry is no space to put in my matx board. looks like a small board to me

I was choosing between Asus Xonar Essence STX vs Creative XFI Ti HD.

Done my homework in google and saw this sentence "Full OpenAL hardware acceleration and real EAX hardware (not emulations like what happens on onboard audio chips and Xonar cards) are only found on Creative cards, even Audigy series have them."

Moreover, Creative does not need extra power using molex.

Ultimately I chose Creative XFI Ti HD cos I have using Creative sound cards since Pentium 133Mhz!!
