Buy the latest on market lo haha... you may not have enough slot for ZXR but not sure it can be used without the D card.

i roughly read reviews. creative no more good?

I'm using a Xonar DX... To me, sound quality is sufficiently different to be able to be discerned by untrained ears

Also, I'm using HKIII. It's sufficient for my purposes.

I transitioned out of T3 because of the infamous controller issue, and didn't want the risk.

I think just getting the Soundblaster Z is sufficient. Just got mine, really happy with it especially in games with the dedicated headphone amp

if you are comparing to ROG Xonar Phoebus, of cos the ROG onboard chipset will not be able to fight.

But comparing with other sound card need to check the respective spec and what chipset they are using and most important, is our subjective ears.

I highly recommend the zxr if ur going the gaming n music route...previously using the onboard supreme fx audio...sounded not bad...but after installed the zxr..is like holy ****!!! Different is skyhigh! It really made my z906 sing...

I went to the shop at sls. They told me xonar card is better than creative zx card. is it true???
