Anyone engaged soundproof company in Singapore before? Eg Noise stop system , Consoundancy etc. Is it reliable? One of my bedroom have sound issue from exhaust fan and mechanical sounds from coffee shop below.

yes, can ask them to visit your place and see what they recommend, no harm

To be honest, if the exhaust is structurally near your bedroom and that noise is the one thats bothering you, its quite hard to sound proof it as it travels not just through sounds waves. If sound waves still easier to manage.

No, when open the window, no buzzing sound.
The sound come from wall and the floor,which below is the exhaust fan

then i don't think soundproofing will help given it's like because of solid medium

Low frequency noise aka vibration

If u hear the noise when ur ear is on the pillow or bed then i suggest the cheapest method first.

1. Dont let ur bedframe touch the wall
2. Put a thock carpet below ur bedframe
3. Buy few thick rubber n put below to support ur bedframe

If this still does solve ur problem, i suggest u talk to the stall owner to reinstall the fan with rubber, spring or c channel to reducd vibration cause its affecting u. Can share cost or u pay for it cause its going to be way cheaper n effective than u engage a noise specialist to soundproof (decouple ur walls n floor) ur room, easily over 10k

No. Coz I only know is exhausted fan sound, the fan pipe is big one. I not in experts to advise them how to rectify the issue. Advise them to check with their contactor, however follow up few times, give few excuse

Yes, I don't have sound issue for the past 2 ++ years. Situation change due to change management and they installed new exhaust fan

Could be aircon outdoor unit or big washing machine

If u sure is exhaust fan, u take some photos n videos. Which show how the mount the exhaust fan n the noise of the exhaust fan, find maybe 2 exhuast fan installer online ask for solution n quote.
With the quote n solution then u approach the stall owner n decide how u want to solve this

your soundproof thing likely wouldn’t work cause is from vibration

mai fret TS. me tho no experience in this area, but me tink HDB will eventually ask them to put dampeners on their exhaust pipe or wat. expect only mitigation at best. if completely go away, then its a bonus liao. long term is to move. being connected to a large exhaust not only vibration, i can imagine the smell and noise from the kopitiam oso. hope your plobem settled soon.

You stay right on top of the coffee shop? You share their ceiling?

That will be tricky if the other party refuses to corporate.
