Yep UOB PPV allows 10X on Samsung Pay. And this is not a promo. It's indefinite.
Just to check, do you know if UOB PPV works only with Samsung Pay NFC or does it also work with Samsung Pay MST? If only the former, there's not much difference from using the physical card (other than you don't need to bring it out).
anyone can advice which card below is best for over the counter Visa/Master card payment for SP and Town Council for payment of 1K? :
Citibank SMRT
Maybank Platinum
HSBC Advance
POSB everyday
DBS womens card
Maybank platinum if you can clock $1000 for each and every of the 3 months of the quarter.
Why $1000? Isn't $300 enough for 3.33% rebate?
Note that utility and town council bill govt rebates also takes place every quarter :
July 2018, October 2018, January 2019 and April 2019.****
So for these months, you must spend more to cover the shortfall due to the rebates
No lah. Rebate does not affect spending required.
Yar, what I meant was you must spend more other than utility and TC bills so as to make up for the govt rebates to hit min spend.
Eg. SP bill $100, TC bill $80, you need another $120 to hit $300
During a month with govt rebates,
SP bill $(100-60), TC bill $(80-40), means to hit $300, you need to speed another $220

Thanks for the advice. Luckily I am only aiming for $30 rebate. So I think I will just try to hit $530 every month to make sure. Btw, do you pay SP via netflashpay at 7-11?

thanks bro, so lets say i start in Jan:
Jan 19 - 300
Feb 19 - 300
Mar 19 - 300
Apr 19 = $30 rebate
SEEMS better than Citi SMRT Card! too bad cant put ezlink on it.
The spend can consist of town council as well as SP utilities right? if so, I can put it on recurring, no need to go down to counter?
SP dun allow recurring payment other than dbs/posb cards
oh so that means I got to
1) put town council recurring
2) go down to SP every mth to swipe..
Yes, provided the town council accepts recurring payment using the card. You may have to enquire with the town council if it is not on the list here https://info.maybank2u.com.sg/personal/cards/benefit/auto-paybills.aspx
