Spam invites on Calender

Anyone receives spam invites to events/sales on their mac/iphone calender?

Seems like declining these invites will notify the spammer and may cause even more spam invites...

The viable way is to create a new calendar and moves those invites to it and delete it away...

but it is troublesome to constantly create and delete... any other solutions?

That worked for me. Stopped receiving the spam invites.
