Spam Moneylender SMS

I've had a few instances where when i connect to JB network after crossing the causeway, I immediately get 10+ moneylender spam sms

Strangly it only happens to my Zero1 line but not my Vivifi line

Anybody else? I find it strange the sms only comes in when i connect to roaming and it doesnt come in while i in SG and also how the numbers are "apparently" SG numbers

Appear SG number is fake, scammers use a device to divert their calls. I think should be Zero1 problem.

Have this problem for years with my Singtel Hi Card (prepaid) and it still happening.

mine also Singtel

suspect there's some Malaysian rat/ mole working in Singtel selling our personal data to scammers/ hacking into MY telcos to detect SG roaming numbers, and all the frequent regular singtel network issues

Complain to Singtel so that they can investigate.

Highly possible explanation, since the crooks went to the extent to install base terminal stations near the Causeway to capture mobile phones hunting for a roaming carrier to switch to.
