Speaker have other sound?

Hi guys, something weird happen to my swanspeaker m10 speaker recently.

Even though i didnt open any music or program that generate sound, it seems to intercept other frequency and have this very soft music running behind...

any solution?

i dont think i have ever seen or heard anything like this... Speakers are meant to play sounds that its output from the source. Unless you have a mic that is on and recording tv background noises and playing back to you

rebooted. still same. its like the speaker capture radio frequency and cause the small faint noise..

if put the speaker near the ear...definitely can hear someone is talking

i google it and there seems to be ppl experiencing this also.

i off all the program and let the pc idling there..the speaker still produce faint noise

Last time my subwoofer pick up interference from mobile phone. I get an empty soft drink can and cut it up. Open the subwoofer and place the metal shield to the ground, the interference disappeared.

Not a valid comparison.

There are many noises in the air not audible by human ear.

WIFI (wireless router/AP from you/neighbour)
RFI
Mobile phone
Ballast in lighting
Wireless phone (not mean for SG market)

For a start, cover the speaker with the amplifier using cardboard and observe whether any changes or not. You can also cover the cable from the sound card to the speaker set.
If you have ferrite core, install it to the audio cable closest to the speaker.

i just run some test..now it seems like its getting worse.. the faint sound is getting louder and the speaker started to have buzing sound.......

so many interference in my room meh...sien

No doubts the best material is zinc plated sheet or aluminum foil, but not everyone keep this at home.

Use cardboard as the best alternative, it does reduce the interference in most cases.

Is the speaker's cable close proximity to any power cable or did you tied them up nicely with cable management coil?

Try the following with your speakers still powered on, do u still hear the noise after each step?
1. Unplug the audio cable from your PC
2. Plug the audio cable into something running purely on batteries like your mobile phone
