Speaker Repair Service

Hi, I have a Mordaunt Short MS-25i speaker whereby no sound comes out from the tweeter. There is still sound from the woofer. I swapped the working tweeter with the working speaker and it works fine. Thus, some capacitors may have been burnt.

May I know where can I repair it ? And roughly the charges.

you can visit martin electronics at burlington sq. Yes, that's where you can find HEAR Rec. first floor and further in. The mdm shld be able to help you repair. I had my woofer repaired by her last week. fee was $50. i think is reasonable

The shop in front of the escalator? Friendly guy. He sold me a tweeter to go fix myself at home. The Sim Lim Tower repair shop guy didn't want to sell stuff to me, insist I repair the speaker there.

Er, approach the focal distro for a 2nd hand focal sib tweeter ?
I actually did e-mail them about 2 months earlier, but no reply.
I got a JBL one from the Sim Lim Square shop and replaced it. Works the same.. cost $20.

Failed to remove the drivers from my heavy speakers so unable to take it to repair.

My Denon speaker wire housing clip broke. Does any shop repair just the speaker wire housing? The one that you poke the red and black copper wires into

Dian, the old lady at Martins Electronic at Burlington Sq does spk repair work. Yes, neighbor to Hear Rec

bring your woofer or entire spk to her shop. I had my spk voice coil repaired by her for $50

Altronics is reliable, have look for him to recone a pair of the speaker before. When one of my Q-acoustic tweeters had some issues he assisted to advise and didn't charge me.
