Spec for mining rig

Hi,

Can someone recommend me a simple FULL mining rig build exclude GPU? will be using my spare RTX 3090

will be using one 3090 only and mine 24/7.

Not sure how much budget but something simple. TIA

My main rig is currently mining now. I wanted a simple barebone to put my second card to mine hence looking for recommendation on cheapest parts for mining purpose only

if your current rig got space and PSU has sufficient Watt headroom to run another 3090, can just use your existing one.

to build another rig just for one gpu, you have to factor in MB,CPU,RAM,Storage,PSU,extra cooling fans,case/frame cost. not to mention the additional watts consumed (thou not much) just to power it for one gpu.

can consider carousell used old parts. the cheaper bundle the better. ITX/matx/ATX MB all also can since just one gpu don't need to buy risers.

You can get a basic Athlon or Celeron and boot from Linux. 120GB basic HDD is enough.

If you don't even know this, you should not mine.
