Owndays is from Japan. Other chain stores are Jin, Zoff, etc. But do you speak Japanese? I think the eye examination is going to be difficult without being able to communicate right? They might be unwilling to accept a prescription written in English...

yes i have friends who swear by JINS as well. can be done in 30mins apparently

Can try Jin, it will be ready in 1-2 hours. Don't worry about the communication part as they have cards with translation.
