Will you still get it if it's sealed, no microSD, and cannot swap battery?

Don't remove the battery and micro sd card can liao.

In terms of software, note 4 is already pretty good. Feel so satki to have everything in my phone. Recently I use the stylus to write notes during meeting and even took photos. Really save a lot of time, save papers and no need to lug one laptop around. I upgrade to lollipop and the camera clicking sound is so much faster.

Still, I prefer more internal space, faster chip, more RAM, better battery life and better detection of words when I handwrite.

I would stick with the note series if they can fulfil all these else I would have to sadly say bye bye to samsung.

It all depends on whether wireless charging and UFS 2.0 fast internal memory access made it into Note 5.

1) If wireless charging comes as default, removable battery will be gone.
2) If UFS 2.0 fast internal memory access comes as default, SDCard will be gone.

The trend is Note series will get S series features......

The way I look at it, very high possibility this Note 5 will go the way of S6...

u want a premium feel/look fone, u definitely hv to do away wif some of the hardware perks.. as it is now, Note 3/4 alredy comes wif faux-leather back casing.. so most probly they will follow S6 glass-typed back casing for the new Note.. for that more premium look..

the same goes for the SD card slot.. think no more liao.. so that they can "force" ppl to buy their higher capacity models.. and in a way to copy Apple "pattern"..

as for the rest of the specs, shud be as per rumours we been hearing abt... 4K display (possible will come in edge variant like S6), latest snapdragon or their own Exynos cpu, 4GB ram, 16 or 20MP rear cam.. etc..

-faster focus speed
-64bit octa core with higher processor power
-4gb ram
-4k display
-forced multi window for all apps
-4000mah and above battery(abit greedy here)

I know some are abit greedy. But.. better spec better for consumer. But price might be higher. Haha.

Not too sure if Samsung will retain the microsd card. For those who have use galaxy s6, you will notice the read and write speed of ufs 2.0 is way faster than any microsd card. Doubt samsung will use microsd card and compromise the performance of Note 5

Maybe its just me... sumtimes the more "satki" specs they tried to squeeze in to the fone, the worst results it might achieve..

for eg. wun a higher res display or higher cpu power zap more batt juice.. ?

and wats the point of 4K reso on a fone screen.. ? i rather they compensate it wif a better, more powerful camera sensor so that can take better pics and beedio quality..

and last but not least... make the fone more practical.. go invest on a more "durable and tough" built.. waterproof, dustproof, heatproof etc..

knn make the fone all the inside specs so tokgong, once drop on the floor the screen all cracked or picha...

SD slot on fones will be a thing of past sooner or later... akan datang liao..

wif the technology capabilities where they can increase and increase the on-board storage size (might even reach 512GB one day), SD will be "terminated"..

and thats not including wif the option of OTG or cloud services that it is now still available..

Thats why higher mah battery to make up for the power consumption. And 64bit processor is more power efficient. So wouldnt be a problem. Dont think Samsung will go the waterproof way anymore.

Any phone drop at some angle also will smash the screen one leh. Especially a bigger screen. Gorila glass la. Sapphire glass la. Same same lo. Also can see screen crack incidents. Haha.

I won't say a thing of the past. But surely flagship models will slowly MOE away from it. Lower end model will still incorporate sd slot due to the budget low internal memory
