I think platform like FSM, robo are tools that are making fees more transparent and lower cost. It really do not matters that much already if 1 min fee is $8.88 or $15

The more important is the investors actions, do they have a sound investing plan And are they following the plans (e.g. consistently DCA without missing the dates, robotic investing following their plans without fear when market tanked)

FSM is $10 right? $25 is still cheaper than buying unit trust. I think Lion global is rolling out another China etf. Maybe every year $15300 can whack China etf whereas cash whack others. If break $15300 into 3 tranches and whack at commission of $25. Not ridiculous la. Also can include as DBS treasures AUM? If they charge $25, then shares in cdp which is not bad also
yes agreed, can consider putting SRS into the ETF lion global going to list on 2-Aug.

it’s more broad-base than hang seng tech, supposedly lower volatility.
Hang seng tech probably works better as satelite fund

Any insights in that ETF? Is it all the giants like Maotai, ICBC, PingAn etc….?

My SRS a/c is with dbs. Is there a procedure to link my FSM a/c to my srs a/c before trading? Also, will my dbs srs a/c show my holdings purchased with fsm?
You just need to update your SRS account details (bank and account number) in the FSM app.

Holdings purchased with SRS will indeed be shown under your DBS SRS a/c instead of FSM.

here u go:

Second link is the prospectus.. page 83-85 has the list of constituents. seems that some stock has both AShares and Hshares. hence total no. listings more than 80.

MAS has authorized it and it mentioned listing date 2-Aug in the prospectus. Probably news and their marketing events will start soon.. heard that ocbc already started informing their clients.

I would like to check if DBS has removed the account management fees of $2 per stock per year? I do recall seeing this previously in fees schedule..

All 3 operators have waived fees and charges for SRS until further notice. The only charge is a transaction fee of $2 for each Singapore Savings Bond application and redemption.

Yes, you can. Doesn’t matter which broker your used. If your SRS bank is DBS, all ETF or Shares purchases will be held by them

Thanks for this confirmation. I was wondering about this for some time.
I used dbs vickers before to buy ES3 with srs (at very Low price in Apr 2020 I think) but have always used FSMone after that for srs.

noob here. the above is true if you housed it under CDP right?

if use custodian like POEMS, must use POEMs to sell right?

or all shares purchased using SRS or CPFIS must be held under CDP?

thanks

If use SRS to buy UTs, custodian is also under our CDP? Or custodian SRS bank?

Read HWZ Forum Rules!

basically for SRS and CPF-IS, there are 3 agent banks- DBS, OCBC and UOB.

if you invest into any SGX listed ETFs or stocks (note that you can only invest listed securities on SGX, not NYSE or HKEX),
your shares will be held under either DBS, OCBC or UOB account with CDP

Doesn’t matter if you have bought it via iFast, DBSV, POEMS etc. there is no direct CDP concept for SRS or CPFIS. All trades get settled via one of the 3 banks, depending on which you open your SRS or CPFIS account with.

This is also why before your place any SRS or CPFIS trades, you have to first link your SRS or CPFIS account with the brokers.
