ssd , can this be push down ?

my friend brought a tecware nexus and i was trying to install the ssd for him but the location to install the ssd didn't have space for me to push the ssd down and screw without slight bending the sata port. i was wondering issit safe to just push down and tighten it ?

right now i just have 2 screw on the right side and the ssd is sitting slanted

Not all casing take into consideration the power cable and sata port
The (mostly cheap)makers assume the ssd can sit flatly on the casing with the cables.
So you have to find your own spacers. Maybe you can use those table feet foam(easily found in homeware shop) it also acts as dampener

3 m tape works should work right? so I can move the ssd more to the left

It looks like a right-angled SATA connector. If so, easier to just change to straight connector.

In any case, SSD need not be screwed down.

Easy... SSD is light, can just improvise and tape to the top and the bottom of the hole to hold the SSD or just use cable tie...

thx for all the advice/help. i used cable tie to secure it instead . not gotta "press in" and try to secure the screw, scare the port broke.

I dun even secure my ssd... just place it inside the cage lobang.

Your problem can simply resolve by replacing the L-shape sata cable to a straght one !!!!

I installed the SSD vertically instead of horizontally to bypass this issue.

i use 3M tape to hold them in place.

1. Change cable to straight type
2. Use double side tape to fix it at another location
