I find Samsung SSD 840 Pro pretty good. You could do it yourself. If you choose not to do a clean install.
Clone
Download Carbon Copy Cloner from (Mac Backup Software - Carbon Copy Cloner) and clone your existing hard drive into your new ssd (with enclosure). Change your ssd to your mbp, 2 steps must remember to do

1. Trim enable your ssd from (cindori.org)
2. Select your SSD from the startup disk from System Preferences/Startup Disk/

------ Else you could do a
Clean Install
If you want to do clean install, boot your mavericks into a bootable usb. Replace your ssd into your mbp, boot up while holding the alt key. Run the bootable usb with mavericks. Go to Disk Utility, erase your ssd, quit disk utility and install mavericks. Its quite straightforward :)

That will do. Hope it helps.
