SSD for Samsung NP500P4C

Can anyone please advise if I am able to replace my hdd with a ssd for Samsung model NP500P4C? If so, what are the specs required for the ssd e.g. 2.5 inch etc anything i need to watch out?

I have the same laptop and replaced it with an SSD sometime ago. It takes 2.5 inch ssds just fine and is very easy to install. Just unscrew the hdd cover and off you go!
