Ssd not recognised.

Just installed crucial mx100 512 gb on my desktop. Successfully cloned my hdd into the ssd using acronis. When I entered bios, I can't choose to boot into my ssd(ssd not in the options). When I boot into my hdd, I can see the ssd with the cloned contents. I am not sure what to do now.

swap the data cable of the hdd to ssd

After cloning, should disconnect sata cable from hard disk and boot direct into SSD.

Just a question, my hdd have two partition (C and Do)and end up my cloning results two partition as well. How can i remove partitions from both drives? I don't mind a wipe of data as I backed up already.

Of course, can always plug back anytime after SSD is working fine as OS drive.

Actually is just make sure the ssd is the on the first Sata port or one Sata port ahead of the normal harddisk will do and set it as first boot in bios as well
