i currently have 2 old 7200pm hdd

dude, 1 TB samsung SATA SSD also need $200+, your budget only good for you to buy 500GB SSD at most from not so popular brands like crucial hahaha

Fastest ssd currently is pcie gen 4 nvme ssd.

No you cannot get 2tb ssd for under $100

The day you can get 2tb ssd for under 100$ is the day sata drive die

If your MB has m.2 PCIe slot, you can consider the Sabrent Rocket 1 TB from Amazon. Around S$150. Good reviews but warranty is a question mark.

There is also the Adata SX8200 Pro from Corbell but the 1 TB version is OOS and a bit out of your budget.

i ever saw amazon prime now international sell 960gb corsair mp510 for S$180. But now only left sabrent , samsung or crucial 1TB for S$200. The crucial 1TB is S$138 niah, about same perfomance as adata 6000 iirc, even the prime now app state 5 year sg warranty.
