SSD sata3 recommend

Hi, want to buy a SSD SATA3 500gb as my gaming drive. any recommendations? I searched Shopee got $50+ to $150+ for Samsung 870evo, WD SA510, Kingston KC600 etc. Dunno how to see which is original. Same model but price diff so huge. TIA.

My last hardware upgrade was 10yrs+ ago.

I suggest you pay a bit more if necessary and buy from a reputable seller. If the price is too cheap, could be a used drive or scam.

If you intend to use your hardware on long-term basis (as you say 10 years) i suggest you buy quality.
Samsung would be the obvious choice, Kingston also can. WD is in budget segment now, Sandisk taking over soon the drives will be shipped in the well-known clear plastic blister like the USB drive.

This is Samsung official price any cheaper could be a scam.
Sadly 500GB is $129 unless you want to try your luck on Carousell.
But Carousell SSD wise you have to know how to format the SSD before use.

I checked out what's available. My preference was for Samsung official store at $129 but OOS. I suggest you get this instead. 1 TB at S$182. You get double the capacity for about S$50 more. Do note that this is from Amazon Germany so there is effectively no warranty, so test before the return period expires.

look for at least 1tb for gaming...
u can look at samsung , crucial , wd
coz its sata3 any of the 3 the max speed will be there.....
