SSD upgrade help

Just bought a 850evo and wanted to do a clean os install. But the problem is that I forgot the product key (oem) liao. So will I need to get a new key or motherboard will auto-detect the licence?

You still need the key... theres no such thing as mobo auto detect keys.. unless you upgrade... if clean install you need the key...
