Hi,

I am planning to buy a new SSD to replace my current one in C:\.

Can I check if it is possible to move the content of these files into the new hard disk? After which can i use it the new hard disk as C:\ without the need to reformat my windows again?

strongly advice against a full transfer of windows from hdd to ssd... try install windows on your ssd, then copy whatever files you need over from your hdd... no need to format the hdd...

Hi xkiller,

My present hard disk is also an SSD. Its just that the capacity is very small. Hence i wish to change it to a bigger SSD capacity.

With that, am i still required to format my hard disk?
