Hi, I'm curious for SSD, if read/write performance not too critical for me, is it all brand same then?

crucial m500 $215 would be better. Kingston ssd not trustable imo. They changed their nand chips without even saying a word. Your choice, $16 more for a very reputable ssd or take the risk.

Intel SSD price is on the high side with average performance.

But reliability is good on the Intel SSD. For the price of the Kingston SSD in Singapore, I can easily get one shipped in from Amazon at the same price. International warranty, so no worries wherever you are.

depends on how xiong ur gonna use it. For me i treat my ssd like a gem. everything non essential moved to hdd, probably cos my ssd not big in the first place (128gb). anw the larger ur ssd, for the same write load, the longer ur estimated lifespam (cos more memory to wear out)

lol. 128gb mlc at least have 500tb write endurance. Its something u dont need to even care about. My 256gb samsung 840 pro is my laptop's main and only drive.

If read/write not critical, Qoo10 got transcend 256GB for $159. Three years warranty.
I using this for my laptop and a Samsung 830 for my PC. Frankly, don't feel the difference...
