Hence the claim that it will not turn green.

Lol the braiding is just another form of braiding la.

Litz refers to the configuration of how the strands of wires are insulated. each strand in each wire is insulated i think.

U already pretty much hit the head on the nail.
Litz design cables will sound better than usual stranded ones.

Copper will definitely oxidize. Even if u keep it in airtight container with silica gel.
Those steps merely slow the process.
The cables oxidize with use.
Looks ugly, but no effect in sound at all.

Hard to choose for u leh.
Also dunno wat genres u listen to, wat dap & amp u using and wat is ur preferred signature.

Anyway, with DX100 and my own Miracle, I use Scorpion when I'm in the "wish like enjoying my music and not care about too much details" mood.
And Silver Poison when I'm in the "I wanna listen to details and feel more analytical" mood.

LOL.

Scorpion sounds warmer with softer treble.
Mids r sweeter and bass is punchier.
Miracle also sounds more 3D with Scorpion.

With Silver Poison, bass/ mids/ treble is more linear.
Bass is there, with less punch and impact.
Mids is clearer with more details visible to the ears.
Treble is slightly sparkly with more energy.

That's about it.

Can't answer that for CIEM, but my recabled EX-1000 sound better with Scorpion.

There's now more bass quantity (lucky quality also improved), mids is now sweeter.
Treble is slightly softer, but EX-1000's treble is extremely well extended, so no worries there.
Staging is very slightly narrower, but gains more layering.
All in all, Scorpion has had the desired effect on my EX-1000.

BUT. My wife reaps all the reward, coz EX-1000 is her main rig.
