yes HSBC EGA needs to monitor cos their cycles can be confusing and they only pay the bonus interest two months later.. not for the faint hearted.

am parking with them for October cos still under their Aug - Nov cycle at 3% (0.05% + 1% + 1.95%). then November shift back to RHB. December will be interesting... plenty of options (see whether eSaver can up somemore and beat iSavvy's +2.1% or maybe EGA's 3.5% will remain king).

For the HSBC EGA, the 1% how u get? Is it for the whole incremental balance for all 4 months, same like for the 1.95%? Thanks in advance.

It's based on incremental ADB from previous month.

Thanks for your reply. So it’s the max $300 based on doing 5 transactions out of EGA. And only useful for one month. Unless u keep on increasing ADB each successive month. Yes. It is useful for Oct. And then in Nov can transfer all out to RHB. Good strategy.

I got the same, just transferred to HSBC this morning....anyway including transaction this month HSBC has 3.5% which is still higher, can transfer back next month still okay.
