There is no 31 June. Also it's incremental balance against ADB for June, not just last day of June. If you're new to this, please ask more questions or read the TnC to understand the mechanics better otherwise will lugi and let the bank benefit.
Sorry I checked wrongly. I emptied out on 01 June not 31 June.

OK. I believe the previous promo cycle was for June - July, reference ADB for May.

And now it's August - September, referencing July ADB.

Did you empty it out on the wrong month and get the cycle dates wrong?

Take it easy too, it might be a FML moment right about now.

I blur already. So my adb in July is $200,000. I emptied full tank out today, so when can i pump in full tank again to get high Bonus Interest?

If they continue the promo, from October onwards (not announced yet). The current promo is Aug - Sep, based on July ADB.

Come October if they continue promo, it'll be Oct - Nov, based on Sep ADB

hmm I kena same case, emptied on 1 June, pumped in back on 1 Jul, now the bonus interest I received is damn GG.

But if emptied on the 1st of the month, the ADB should be zero, no? I understand they always calculate based on the lowest value of the day, so first day emptied value should be zero?

Which is the reference month? Reference month adb = 0 then is correct.

Scam by misleading tnc
What did you interpret it as? Thought it was quite clear actually.

You got the reference month wrong? Isn't it from Jun - Jul (that references May ADB), you need to empty on 1 May, not 1 Jun.

No, July will still reference to May because it is a 2 month promo.

thats why last time the old birds recommend those new to esaver should just put a bit at start only to test how the system works first.

it is always in 2 month cycle referencing the month before.

so June to July promo will reference to May ADB (In july it will still reference to May ADB).

current promo August to Sept will reference to July ADB (in September it will still reference to July ADB).

then Oct to Nov promo (if continue) will reference to sept ADB

so u empty out on 1st June means your June ADB is 0. but your May ADB is not 0. July will still reference to May and not June. its per 2 months and not purely the month before.

"From now till 30 September 2023, earn up to 3.40% p.a. interest on eligible deposit balance of S$2 million with no lock-in period when you bring in incremental fresh funds* (compared to July 2023 average daily balance)"

Thanks for the clarifications, guess I'm pretty outdated on the TnCs...

Noted that the 2 promo months will reference to the reference month, in this case Aug and Sep will compare against Jul.

The old bird very familiar with this mechanics, it's been around for years and they haven't change it to trick or mislead. Kudos to SCB actually. A lot less confusing than EGA too.

They also keep the tnc up for the entire promo period so it's clear what's the reference month.

Whole balance 4%.

Which apparently is actually 3.4% now, and 0.6% follow month(which i havent get for june balance), on FRESH FUND

the good thing also is they give you the interest on the first day of the month so if you make a mistake in that month you already know immediately and don't need to 2nd guess yourself.. unlike others like multiplier or ocbc360 n EGA where the interest comes in much later.. some even months later

thats why even when got eSaver promo but the ppl here say 20th then get bonus interest i also scared.. rather get a little less at start of the month for a peace of mind

the invited eSaver promos are quite confusing to me though so perhaps it is something they could improve on..
