Does anyone know why when I transfer out from scb savings today , it states transaction date as 5/8 and value date as 4/8? Shouldn't it be the other way like other banks ?

Hi all so I'm currently in Jun to Aug Batch B. Must I leave the funds in the e$saver account past 31 Aug? my intention is to merry go round to CIMB for Sept but as I have received esaver invite for Sept to Nov can I withdraw the bulk of the funds from esaver on 31 Aug (in order to reset the end-of-day deposit balance on 31 August 2024) leaving 1k for the period of 31 Aug to 29 Sept then I will top up 100k+ on 30 Sept to qualify for esaver Sept to Nov 3.4%? thank you for your patient advice and guidance.

to those regular e$saver promo participants, how do you interprete this TnC which is featured in every Bonus Interest TnC document ?

https://www.sc.com/sg/terms-and-conditions/esav-ju24b/

e. For the avoidance of doubt, any deposit, withdrawal or otherwise transaction in relation to your Qualifying Account(s) that takes place on the last day of a calendar month, falling on either a Sunday, a public holiday or a bank holiday, will not be taken into consideration for the purposes of the Bank’s computation of ADB and crediting of Bonus Interest.

Question: specifically is the "last day of a calendar month" a seperate distinction from "a Sunday, a public holiday or a bank holiday,"?
what if "the last day of a calendar month" is a regular working Tuesday?

thank you
