is it only fresh funds from other banks that would be considered for the calculation of bonus? i have some fresh funds from other banks to meet the criteria but also another sum which was from my fixed deposit due with the bank (another scb account).

What I do is transfer to bank A. Then transfer from bank A to bank B. And from bank B back to original bank ( SCB in your case)

Check spam folder. It's subject has <ADV> in it. So duh....

Why unsuccessful ? Is it because you have not deposited or under invite ?

Why unsuccessful ? Is it because you have not deposited or under invite ?

I asked the CSO the same thing (is it because I haven't deposited the 100k), but the response is no, yet he/she also cannot determine why it was unsuccessful and tell me to check with my "RM".

oh well... what unnecessary 'drama'. and the "RM" assigned to my account is a lousy one who doesn't even check or respond to my past messages (and gave generic, unhelpful responses when she did respond).

You can check in your SC app Notifications for the rejection message. I applied on the 1st day the Marathon promo was announced, got rejection few days later, I tried applying again and still got rejected, stopped trying.

did you confirm with your RM? the tnc never say there's any conflict with existing promo..

hmm I didn't see any "rejection message". it's quite baffling. I registered way back on 5 Oct.

thanks for pointing it out. didn't expect to overlap as I thought the deadline to register is end Oct so the promo period starts from Nov. but you're right I guess, Oct already is the start of the promo

It's different money mah.
The money coming from bank B.
If coming from bank A, maybe they say cannot cos it was withdrawn from SCB within 30 days ( dunno whether their system can detect it or not)

Good thing you called. And they are upfront about it and you have not deposited the money.

Some bank promos they don't even tell you.
