Yes interest for nov is base on X+int. Anyway just a few cents difference

not really.. depends on how much people have in eSaver.. there was one guy who got $400-$500 on interest alone from eSaver, that is like 60 cents extra the next month

for those who have been flipping between two esaver accounts, should we transfer out the money on 31 of the month or 1 of the following month?

for this oct-nov promotion, I transfer out only on 1 Oct. so for the dec-jan promotion period, will they look at the ADB of the account on 31 Sep or 1 Oct? :\

edit: oh wait. the bonus interest is based on the ADB of the preceeding month. not the last day balance. sorry. so for dec-jan promotion, we just need to make sure the esaver account we're using has minimum amount in November :D

Transfer out first day of promo

If the first day falls on sunday, then it depends if u lose more by transferring out earlier or later.

Somehow I tried and successfully opened an esaver account online on top of my existing esaver account which i opened more than 2years back.

So am I right to say that I can now reap the max interest by alternating funds between 2 esavers already?

Anyone tried and got the interest for 2nd esaver?

My existing acct under promo with HSBC step up is ending come 30 Nov. I am thinking of opening e-saver with SCB in Nov to get ready (since it probably will take a few days to complete acct opening)...

Read the tncs. It seems i cannot do this? This current promo ends on 30 Nov so i cannot benefit from the 1.7% anymore? Must wait until 1 Dec to take action?

How long does acct opening take with SCB? I would like to minimise interest loss...i have totally no bank acct with scb - only a credit card

Anyone know if we can just transfer funds from esavers A to esavers B without moving the funds out to another bank to earn the interest?

SCB opens account on the spot with internet banking ID/password set up before you leave the branch.

If you are free on 1 Dec, open your esaver acct then trf funds from HSBC to esaver. You will earn bonus interest on all the funds in your new esaver account.
If not, can open esaver account this month with min amount then top up full tank on 1 Dec to earn bonus interest on top up amount.

For those with >50,000, it will take more than a day to FAST everything. I wonder if such transferring back and forth b/w banks affect the priority banking status in SCB.

Quite confused with all the posts here. So basically create 1 account online and 1 account over the counter, and every promotion cycle just use 1 account? Then next cycle transfer to the other account for the promo rates?:s22:

Say for example promotion cycle 1Oct to 30Nov put $xx into eSaver account 1. Then promotion cycle 1Dec-30Jan transfer from account 1 into account 2 and vice versa for the next few cycles?

Cannot transfer between two esavers directly right? Must be fresh funds, and not transfer between two accounts.

I believe need to transfer out to 3rd party and then transfer back in.

Loophole has been around for very long

How long does it take to open an account over the counter, is it instantly? Have an existing savings and time deposit account with SC.
Intending to start on this esavers account for the next cycle :o
