I dun really understand why the rates are still dropping... I thought US raising rates so banks would follow likewise... hmm...

anyway, I've been doing:

esaver1 --> bank A --> bank B --> esaver2

ever since I was introduced to this esaver account. quite a hassle with the use of tokens to generate OTP, etc. but I guess it's worth the extra interest.

FYI, I have being doing transfers from esaver to supersalary every month, and it counts as an inwards credit. So no need to transfer money in from another bank

For e$aver account, does the Bonus Interest Rate on eligible Incremental Balance applies to 2 months or just that month alone.

For example, in Jan my account has 1K and I added 49K in Feb. The bonus interest of 1.13% p.a applies to the newly deposit 49K in Feb only or for both Feb and March.

Basically u only need to move your funds every 2 mths to enjoy the higher interest rate.

lets say you have more than $50k, how you all move your monies ah? FAST daily max is $50k.. if the remaining transfer by GIRO, then wouldn it means next working day then receive and we will lose out on 1 day's interest right?

Though FAST limit is only $50k, the daily limit is actually $100k for SCB. So you can FAST $50k x 2 = $100k.

Yes, incremental fresh fund as compared to January 2017‘s average daily balance or if got no account in Jan.

Did some FAST today and scheduled FAST for tomorrow as well. For any cheque drawn today/tomorrow, interest over the weekend will be lost..Using maybank isavvy to park for next couple of months..Hopefully MAS raises in October, so got to wait till then for better rates

daily transfer limit for scb is 100k. unless you have more than 200k, you can transfer 100k tonight after 11pm but before midnight (valued the next day), and another 100k after midnight.
