Need to maintain until end of following month from account opening. So theoretically you can get $250 for putting $75k for 1 mth. You still get additional interest for salary credit and card spend

Hi all. It seems like now standard chartered esaver (1.8%) and maybank isavvy (1.75%) are the highest in interest rate for these few months for Fresh Funds Deposit. So in order to get the fresh fund desposit, is the technique to transfer 200k every 1st of the month to the other account to get the fresh fund deposit interest?

Thanks in advance

not every month. need to see which month they are comparing to. for now eSaver is every 2 months. e.g. the promo runs from Oct-Nov but they comparing against the ADB for sept. so even if nov it is still comapred to the ADB in sept, so no need to transfer again in nov

No need to transfer again in Nov as long as your balance during the promo is higher than Sep adb.

Thanks guys for the info. Seems like the rates are getting better and better. Will park my funds in esaver for these 2 months. Maybank isavvy having 1.9% in Dec, probably will transfer over on the 1st of Dec

Anyone received letter from SC regarding topping up existing priority acct with 200K and receive $500 cash credit? Very attractive deal comparable with HSBC.

Seems like fierce competitions among banks for funds these days..

You will receive old bonus interest on the 1st day and the additional bonus interest (if any) on the 3rd week.

Old bonus interest means what ah? My 12 months bonus interest is 1.35% but current esaver promo is 1.55%. How much bonus interest should i expect to receive on 1st day and how much to expect on 3rd week? Thanks.
