They will do a combination as "new fund?"

Or they will take the lesser amount?

It doesn't matter whether the daily balance goes up and down during the promotion period.


As long as the balance at end of each day is above the ADB of the month before the promotion period, it will earn bonus interest which is calculated on daily balance.

Can I ask if funds from other scb accounts, like the settlement account, will count as fresh funds when transferred into the esaver account? Or must be from another bank?

when i first got my pb with scb, rm told me there is a fee. so when my aum fall below, i request to downgrade to avoid fee, rm ignored me, i never pay for so many years until now

Uob caps high interest at $75k,
BOC at $60k, etc.

So excess funds can park at places like Stanchart and HSBC where you can get 1.88% or 2%, still rather decent compared to the 0.01% you get in posb or the other local banks

I toggle between 2 accounts so the one I just transferred the money back to got the gift.
