cso and rm will quote from tnc. but the actual calculating department had their old way of doing things.

for cheque i dunno for sure. but i fast out from one account, and from third party bank, i fast in to another account. so far ok. i presume that the same principle works for cheque, if your cheque is not scb.

anyone has idea of the following? lets say i have 2 esaver acct and 1 has $200k while the other has zero..if i draw out everything to 3rd party bank and re-issue cheque back to other esaver account with ADB zero, will this be considered fresh fund and eligible for bonus interest?

i spoke to cso and they say its not eligble based on T n C "you must deposit fresh funds into your Qualifying Account(s) during the Promotion Period. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "fresh
funds" are funds that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank or funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited within 30 days of
the Promotion Period; "

anyway i checked the new rates for SCB remains at 0.2% + 1.45% for Aug and Sep

Yes. Possible to own 2 individual easier. U want can also open 3 individual esaver.

Nope, found out I can open one with a few clicks online, as long as you already have existing account

Yes as long as your deposit is more than july adb

I didnt. I opened another one some months back (SCB internet banking - i have an existing one), which i encountered some issue.

In the end, i went to the counter (the bank itself) and i manage to open. So now i have 2. All in all, go to the bank if you really cannot open the second account. Hope this helps.
