So let's say I have $50k, can deposit and earn the 1.65% interest right? I can deposit every month also right?

This is FD right or purely a savings account?

This period is only for depositing funds or after this period we can no more deposit and funds?

It's a saving. You need reshuffle your funds to 'continue' getting the interest. Some reshuffle every month. Some, every 2 months. Because 'this' interest is based on incremental balance.

So how does this reshuffle works? Can show with an example.

Thank you.

There's a limit?

1 Subject to a maximum Additional Bonus Interest payable on the first S$100,000 in Top-up Amount(s) across all 3 Relevant Months.

http://www.hsbc.com.sg/1/2/hsbcpremier/welcome-rewards/preferential-rates

limit apply to bonus 0.7% interest, but full sum still get 1.8% PA as base which is highest across all e banks

a bit complicated in actual situations, with 3 rates applied across different period and given out different times.

1. prevailing: <0.1% in tiers. the more u put, the nearer to 0.1

2. step up: 1.8% on total balance

3. card spend: 0.7% on 100k (spend 500)

4. gifts etc (but didnt use to calculate the below)

potentially, if 100k, u can hit 2.6%
but u need 200k to be premier customer, 1.8+(0.7/2)=2.15
i'm getting average 1.95 - 2%, so that is better than esaver 1.7
rest i put in uob1 (2.43) and ocbc 360 (2.25 average)

No. http://www.hsbc.com.sg/1/PA_ES_Cont...nc_new_premier_and_advance_step_up_july16.pdf

For each Relevant Month, each Eligible Customer may not enjoy the Additional Bonus Interest (0.7% on max $100k, for spending min $500 spend on debit card) more than once in respect of each Eligible Account held by such Eligible Customer.

Still get 1.75% or 1.8% up to $1.2M

not sure if can joint account, with the other person being the eligible customer, while i had login access as joint.
