hm personally i dont think thats a wise choice

esaver promo runs for a 2month cycle and next one starts from 1dec to 31st jan 2019.

So if you bring in on 1st dec for 3 months, you only forgo 1 mth of interest for $500, vs bringing it in end dec. Make sense?

I also going to topup for the $500 in dec.
So if I have this invite, and no bal in esavers, better to TOP up 1st Dec or end Dec?

Can only decide after Dec bonus interest rates is out. If higher than 1.9% then top up on 1st Dec, if below 1.9%, put in maybank isavvy first then end of Dec only transfer to esaver.

if u r going for the $500 credit award, shld put in eSaver from 1 Dec (even if rate is lower than MayBank), ... bcos there is 3 month lock in & eSaver bonus promo is only for 2 months, leaving 1 month earning just prevailing 0.25%.

if put in end Dec, only get promo rate in Jan, while Feb & Mar earning 0.25%.

That makes sense if not on the 12 months exclusive esaver promotion. If enrolled for the 12 months promo, will still get at least 1.6% or higher in Feb and Mar.

If open eSaver account at branch, can get the account number immediately?

How about if open through online banking ( I have other SC banking account, not eSaver), how soon can get the account number?

BonusSaver has promo but eSaver no account opening promo right?

I plan to transfer fund into newly opened eSaver account on 1st Dec. Should I open tomorrow 30-Nov or 1st -Dec?

Hi, new to this, can I ask how to game the esaver system?

I set up and funded my a/c in late Oct/early Nov. Above 200k but did not receive any mailer about $500 gift promo for 3mth.

I understand ESAVER promo is a 2 mth cycle, should I withdraw my funds today and re-deposit in Jan?

Or keep the funds in for Dec since they are comparing back to Sept ADB?

You should withdraw in 1 Dec. The Dec 2018-Jan 2019 cycle should be based on Nov ADB so no point keeping the money inside the account for Dec 2018.

Look to transfer to another high interest account, e.g. Maybank iSavvy, for the Dec 2018- Jan 2019 cycle and KIV transfer back in Feb 2019.

The mailer is sent to selected existing priority customer. It is a targeted promo.
If you do not have special offer, then Dec is new cycle and reference month in Nov. So you only get base interest rate for Dec and Jan if your keep the same fund here.
