Some forumers tell moi still can get the bonus interest if you are Priority account holder for transfer within std chrt accounts.

I don't dare to try even I'm on Priority account.

So i always transfer out to other bank then transfer back to e$aver B.

Wondered how much they can recover if they were to forcefully enforce their Tnc and crawl back all the interest they erroneously pay out over the years. :s13:

they also know one lah.. u think they dumb meh..

but they also know if they take action on this, a lot ppl will just shift their funds out and park somewhere else.. its a loss for them

they are one of the only few banks that bother to advertise almost every month big big on newspaper for this account...

The counter staff confirmed that even transfer from non-related person's to another within SCB is not considered fresh fund.

“Fresh funds” means funds that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank or funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited within 30 days of the Promotion Period.

of cos they cant say it is possible .. u want them to lose their jobs ? :s13:

also based on this definition, even if you withdraw to 3rd party bank and back to 2nd acc, it is also not counted as fresh funds , so dont know why ppl insist must withdraw to 3rd party bank

My understanding to qualify: cannot transfer within std chrt bank account,
Or
Cannot Withdrawal then deposit into same account.

So since got experts here said no need so troublesome, you all just follow loh.

is not that.. is just saying transfer out to other bank and transfer back is also not counted as fresh funds according to the definition.. u go bank counter ask them whether is possible to do this they will also most likely tell you cannot

I think:
Withdraw from esaver A to other bank account and deposit back into esaver A -> Not counted as fresh funds.

Withdraw from esaver A to other bank account and deposit back into esaver B -> Counted as fresh funds.

I confirmed this over online chat. If you open a new esaver account online and deposit funds from another bank, confirm counted as fresh funds.

of cos this tallies with the definition 100%. u should ask more specific like ur 2nd point n see what they say. (say existing esaver, not new ,withdraw out to another bank and back)

but whatever.. who cares.. just do whatever works for as long as it lasts :s31:

Doubt they will. The bank can surely pay you the interest that they offer now as they uses the money for other activities that is fetching more yield.

This month: isavvy - - - > esaver
Next month: esaver - - - > isavvy

I've been doing this for about a year, no problem so far.

This month: isavvy - - - > esaver
Next month: esaver - - - > isavvy

I've been doing this for about a year, no problem so far.

I started with

Step 1: eSaver to UOB

After promo ends,

Step 2: UOB to eSaver

After promo ends...Repeat step 1

Now...

Step 1: eSaver to Other Bank to eSaver
