i have a question,

why no one is recommending Bonus$aver ?

the add up interest is 3.88% while e$aver is only 1.80% p.a.
based on a 100k warchest

and should you need some fast cash,
e$aver got this S$5 per cash withdrawal fee

why har? :s22:

Nobody uses esaver for cash withdrawal.... you can use POSB to withdraw.

cos hor the assumed warchest for esaver is >200k-1m
bonusaver can only earn 0.1% above 100k while esaver can earn 1.9% for the whole of 200k-1m without jumping through hoops
esaver is not for withdrawing pocket money lah, that's why :)

U can earn 3.88% on bonusaver easily if u can "charge" salary, "manufacture 2k credit card spend", bill payment and invest/insure.

But esaver is simple only need to flip flop between 2 accounts every 2mths.

This article teach u how to play games with OCBC360 to boost your interest to max, the same game can be played with esaver.

Recently I also started to move money between SCB eSaver and MB iSavvy.

The current SCB eSaver promo runs until 31st January and they likely start a new 2-months top-up promotion on 1st February. This promo would likely use January as the reference month.

Assuming that's correct, I plan to empty my SCB eSaver (except for the minimum 1000 SGD to avoid fall-below fee) so that my January ADB is ~1000 SGD by moving my money to MB iSavvy for a month.
This also lets me enjoy whatever MB iSavvy fresh fund promotion for January, if any.

And then move it back to SCB eSaver on 1st February when their new promotion starts.

ooo i see eh is there like a specific by when (like last day of the month or something) i need to do each transfer by?

no dont need because it is based on ADB, so if you are too late or too early, only lose that few days of interest

Account Opening online

Hi, for those who used the myinfo to apply online for the esaver account as non-bank customer, how fast was the account opening process(from the point of online application to account activation?

Did you need to sign any documents or just wait for sms/email notification?

Maybe considering to open one...

Anyone can advise if the account opening really instant?
I may want to sign up for the Feb promo if its good. No account wif SCB so wondering if I can sign up online on 1st Feb which is a sat!

What is the maximum fast trsf limit?
