I am closing my SCB esaver accounts and with that my relationship with SCB will end. Dont see any reason to keep the accounts alive, with such low rates.

no need to close it, no charges.

True, I have kept $0. But what is the use of keeping a dormant account and having to maintain an app on my phone for the soft token? We will have a low rates scenario for another 2-3 years, so we wont be using this account.

To avoid hassle of reopening (if circumstances change) I guess

Wa lau, SCB forcing people to use App token .... and smart phone must be of certain newer OS version ....
