SCB eSaver (by invitation) promotion till end Mar 2023. Top up fresh funds and maintain at least $100000 higher compared to July 2022 by 31 Aug 2022. Bonus interest 1.75%. Bonus interest payment credit by 20th of the following month. Up to max of $5000000.

I got the invite.

Questns:

1. So long as ADB in Aug is $100K higher than Jul ADB, one will be entitled to the 1.75% on entire balance?

2. Promo is 1 Aug 22 till 31 Mar 23, so there is no need to worry about month to month incremental? Or refer to ADB of any specific month? If so, this is more convenient than HSBC mechanics.

1. That's what I understand from the TnCs. Last day of Aug must have at least $100000 incremental compared to last day of Jul 2022. Do note it is not ADB. This is actually the same as my June 2022 invite which I did not participate
2. Yes. Once you participate, you do not have to play musical chair for the next 8 months. You can transact money in money out like a savings account.

The joint , if as secondary account holder, can be seen in the i banking?

Not sure if joint has to be the main. If it is joint alternate account, both can access the account on internet banking

Thanks boys hitting min spend for UOB One was becoming a pain.

This one also seems much nicer than StanChart's Bonus$aver, which seems to be an equivalent bundle of "do about 15 of these high-margin and unprofitable-for-you things for not much interest"-style bullsh*t

looks clean - only requirement is fresh fund of min 100k.

I think it is better you check with SC officer directly. I just kena a CR interest adjust recovered SGD 0.14 I think I withdraw 1 day early at 31 July instead of 01 Aug. So now SC claw back that one day.

So all readers advice given in this thread is for reference it is always best to check directly with the bank on their T&C for promotion

Edit: I think SC bank in earlier at 30 July. So on 31 July I see interest come in I happy shift out. Then on 01 Aug that CR interest adjust recovered appeared

if depend on last day is working day or sunday

if sunday or PH think they credit on last day of month. if not usually is 1st day of the next month

when the last day of the month falls on a Sunday or PH, some banks will credit monthly interest the day before. This is not unique to SCB. It happens to my POSB and UOB accounts too.
