They should come up with a button for you to specify if u want to join based on invite or public 😂
This will potentially lessen the confusion.

My fault. I transferred in more than 100k in Aug which triggerred the invite. Then realise I received the invitation.

If I had checked for invite before doing the deposit, would have deposited less than 100k to remain on public rate.

I dun think the 'trigger' is a transfer of more than 100k... I also transferred more than 100k in Aug but didn't receive any invite.

in the end have to suck thumb and take the public rate... 2.2% (with wealth holdings)

what was the invitation rate again?

I should have used the word "activate" instead of trigger.

I received the Aug invite. Deposit more than 100k fresh funds in Aug will activate the invite.

I think you misunderstood.

I said a few times already. I received the invite and activated it

I am not talking about how SC decides on who to invite.

err. then how come I didn't receive the invite even though I transferred in fresh > 100k?

1) SCB invite you ( don’t know how they decide who to invite)
2) you can decide if you want to accept ( activate) the invitation by deposit of more than $100k or less

They have the choice to invite you and then you have the choice of whether to accept or not :).
Of course you need to be invited then you have a choice:ROFLMAO:

... this is precisely my question earlier... vsvs24 shared the condition to be invited is to transfer in $100k ("Deposit more than 100k fresh funds in Aug will activate the invite.").

but I didn't get the invite.

(not even talking about activate/accept)

anyway... whatever lah. no invite then no invite. will seek other alternatives... rates dropping like sai everywhere so just have to adjust one's expectations...

never get this invite also. but i dont have 100k also.
