Is it worth it to go through all this hassle just to chase a few zero point whatever percent interest? :s11:

Warren Buffett once was seen picking up a penny on an elevator on his way to the office and remarked to the stunned witnesses, "the beginning of the next billion."

maybe you have only a few thousand dollars. of course it is not worth the effort. it is only a few dollars a month.

but if you have a few hundred thousand, it is worth a few hundred a month.

UOB incremental fresh fund with free NETS Flashpay still available. Feel that this is also a not bad deal.

http://www.uob.com.sg/personal/promotions/deposits/2014/index.html

If can spend the $50 stored value in one transaction, that would have been perfect :)

Why bother spending. just go to the ATM and select Nets Flashpay>Refund to Account. It will flash the card, zap all the money from it and credit to your account of choice.

Done that many times

Agree with dork32, like warren buffett with billions, interest is a few millions a month. If we don't bother with the few dollars interests, it means warren buffet shouldn't bother with the few millions also, but warren doesn't think so. That is why to build wealth, every cent counts.

Are you asking about EZ-Link or flash pay?
I have a mrt card, with "nets@flashpay" on it
I intend to apply for "auto top up" thru "uob one" card. Any balance from the top up amt to the mrt card can be withdrawn.?
Btw..how else I can use uob one card for travelling on bus/mrt.

It is not a transfer or withdraw. It is a cancel and refund. The FP card can no longer be used after that.
