Same here, just re-contracted with 5 mths free. But the new bill shows additional charge for transport fee of $50. Not sure why there is this charge?

Thanks for this. I called and was offered only 4 months without router. So I went to say some people got five months free leh. Then I managed to get 5 months :s13:
I called also the CSO mentioned ongoing re-contract is 5 months free leh. Given only 1 option though - FREE 5 months 1Gbps Broadband at $43.30/mth (effective price of $34.28/mth) No Router. Still considering as plan to switch to Singtel
WiFi 5 Fibre Plan 1Gbps Fibre plan at $39.37/mth coz need the residential phone line for old parent which is free for Singtel BB subscriber. ATM my SH 1Gbps BB is $24.49/mth + Singtel landline $10/mth (about $35/mth). With my current SH BB contract ending end of Feb, working on which will be cheaper with 1G BB and with landline.

Your current SH plan is really cheap! But I would still stay away from Singtel cos they issue ONR instead of ONT and no proper IPv6 support. But I guess no harm if that's not a concern for you.

Yes this SH 1G at $24.49/mth was their promotion re-contract price plan 2 yrs ago. Another thing for me to take into consideration is that if switch to Singtel BB, I will have to pay SH $50+ for the fibre termination/disconnection fees. However, I save around $5/mth if to with new Singtel BB + Singtel Home line compare to with Starhub new recontract price plan + Singtel paid Home line.

Just call Starhub CSO at 1633 for their 24mth 1Gbps Fibre Contract renewal.
  • FREE 4 months 1Gbps Broadband at $43.30/mth (effective price of $36.08/mth)
    • For NEW SIGNUP ONLY + No Router + Disney+ till 22 Feb 2023

  • FREE 3 months 1Gbps Broadband at $43.30/mth (effective price of $37.88/mth)
    • For RE-CONTRACT ONLY + 1 WIFI 6 Nokia Beacon 2 Router + Disney+ till 22 Feb 2023

  • FREE 5 months 1Gbps Broadband at $43.30/mth (effective price of $34.28/mth)
    • For RE-CONTRACT ONLY + No Router + Disney+ till 22 Feb 2023
I took option 3 as I am using my own 1x Asus XT12 Pro mesh WiFi 6 router, no need their crap Linksys or Nokia router. :ROFLMAO: After 5 minutes, my new renewal plan is activated
Thanks for posting this.

I went to Starhub shop on 6 Jan and they could only give free 3 mths without router

Today I called sales line 1630, they offered 5 mths free no router. My contract ends 11 Mar. I asked when the free 5 mths end and staff said not indicated so might change any time. Because no router, the new 24 mths contract will start within 24 hrs once I confirm re-contract. Did not want to risk so did the re-contract.

I thought the free 5 mths was just broadband. But receive SMS on free Disney Plus. So I suppose I do have Disney plus

Thanks. The t&C says this though

Under this Promotion, for a limited period until such time we may determine, new and re-contracting customers subscribing to the following Eligible StarHub Service(s): • • • Selected 1Gbps StarHub Broadband Service or 2Gbps StarHub Broadband Service on a 24-month contract; or any Post-Paid Mobile+ $99/$129/$169 2-year plan; or HubBundle 1G - $38 SIM Only Plan via the StarHub Shop or Online Store (not valid for change of plan via My StarHub App or My Account), are eligible to access Disney+ for a period of 12 months or until 22 February 2023, whichever is the earlier. The Disney+ bundled access period will commence from the date the Broadband or StarHub Post-Paid Mobile+ service is activated.

Then maybe I should activate after 22 Feb since my SMS say I am given till 1 Mar to activate?

I'll call Starhub tomorrow to ask.

All along the free promo of Disney+ is still 22 Feb 2023 stated at the T&C for quite awhile already. I never go activate since I already have Disney+ so to me no difference, free 5mths is the main factor.

Was told by the CSO at Nex that the 5mth free ended last week. Now recontract is just free 2 months only if you're NTUC member.

Maybe you can try calling 1630 sales line to confirm.

Lucky I decide not to wait.

wah last week I called 1630 ask about recontract offer and the CSO told me only one recontract plan and will be FREE 5 months 1Gbps Broadband at $43.30/mth with no router. Plan to go down NEX next few days to recontract but now I better call 1630 to confirm again and not waste time going down. If only 2 months then forget about SH as Singtel $39.37/mth 1 Gbps (with free Home line) will be much cheaper option compare to recontract Stahub 1 Gbps + paying Singtel analog home line $9.90/mth currently.

500mbps shld be 29.90. IIRC there is a one-time fee for conversion.
Its the same as 1gbps la , you wont feel the diff.

You know the 1 time conversion fee?

Looking at the table, still need to select a Router and pay monthly besides the $30.18 monthly fee.

I think phone and Roadshow may be different retailer
You are right. I called 1630 and the FREE 5 months 1Gbps Broadband at $43.30/mth with no router offer only available online recontract but not at Starhub Shops. Advice to wait until on or after 26 Feb 2023 when my current $24.72/mth contract ends then call again to recontract and this offer will still be available in my case.
